Tiffany McGowen, Paycom’s senior executive vice president of HR and talent acquisition, oversees all human resources initiatives and recruiting strategies that have helped Paycom grow to over 7,000 employees. Throughout her 14 years at Paycom, McGowen has established herself as a thought leader within the talent acquisition community by serving as Paycom’s subject matter expert in multiple media articles and news interviews. Prior to joining Paycom, McGowen worked in various roles at Robert Half and Essex Financial Group. McGowen served the Oklahoma City Chapter of Financial Executives International and enjoys volunteering for foster care programs and other organizations across Oklahoma, including serving on the Board of the Edmond Memorial High School Football Booster Club as Membership Chair. She is also the executive sponsor for Paycom’s Working Parents and Caregivers employee resource group. McGowen earned her bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. In 2023, McGowen was honored as a recipient of the 50 Making a Difference award by The Journal Record.

Under her guidance, Graeter’s transitioned from a paper-based HR operation to a fully paperless, tech-enabled system — dramatically improving efficiency and data accuracy. Committed to building a people-first culture, Alexandra has championed employee empowerment through training and the development of scalable systems, enabling team members at all levels to actively support and engage with HR processes.
